The Moment’s Gone
Nodding off on the last bus home
Shared a drink & then came home with scuffed knuckles
It can wait
We escape into scrapes
Too late
Us vs. World & her face
Her face
You don’t know
At least you got to see her one last time
Longing’s long
It’ll pass; about done
On the tip of yer tongue & the moment’s gone
Hitch a ride
Slip & slide on black ice
Hug goodbye & her eyes
Her eyes
They don’t know
But at least you got to see her one last time

tight album, the production is stellar and the songwriting nice. layers and layers of sound unfold and wash and build and meander. sad to hear they're breaking up right after releasing such strong material. matt schultz

This entire album is staggeringly good, but my favourite is Slowly Coming Together, which does indeed seem to slowly distill all that is Jilk into one track. Amazing work, and wonderful to come across through the subscription library. swansither

So wonderfully put together you don't realize the ingenuity behind some of the sound sources until you read the liner notes. Another fine addition to an increasingly expanding Radiophonic-like world. Anthony Childs
The band's latest project includes twenty-eight new short songs that clock-in at no longer than just under three minutes. Bandcamp New & Notable May 15, 2020

Such a great idea translating stamps into music. Four brilliant tracks hotter than a Bunsen burner flame. I would love to see this issued on vinyl. roblove1
